A big shout out to Hickory Smoke

Hickory Smoke is an amazing group of people.

Check them out and listen to some of their music.

As most of you have probably read on social media, my son has a lot of medical issues going on right now. We need to get him to the Mayo Clinic for better testing and data collecting. Then we will take all that information to his doctor and he will most likely be having a 3rd brain surgery done.  The Mayo Clinic does not accept his insurance and he doesn't qualify for their financial aid. That left us in a difficult place. We need him to get the tests from one of the best but to do that we would need to pay the hospital $19,000 up front before the test will be done plus  we would have our travel and lodging expenses adding up on us.

That is where Hickory Smoke comes into it. They offered to play a fundraising event for us. They are going to play the event on November 6th and they have promoted the event. They haven't asked for anything from us. They are truly good people.
