Hi Everyone,
I wanted to
share this very simple recipe with you. Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs. There are endless
variations of this recipe. I’m going to share with you the way I made it the
other day and it was soooo yummy!
Ingredients:
Must have these
two items.
Hot Dogs
Bacon
Other than that,
like I said you can pretty much do anything you want. Here is how I made ours.
Preheat your
oven to 425
I took jumbo
hotdogs so that my family got a meal that would fill them up, but you could certainly use regular or bun
length. Whatever you like is fine.
Then you
take each hot dog and sprinkle seasoning on it to your liking and then wrap a
piece of bacon around it.
For ours I seasoned the jumbo hot dogs with McCormick Grill Mates Applewood Rub.
My house loves that seasoning. Next, I wrapped each hotdog with a piece
of bacon. Any bacon is fine. Whichever kind your family normally eats.
Then put
your seasoned and bacon wrapped hot dogs in a baking dish. Depending on how
many hotdogs you want to make is the size of pan you need. A (9 x 13) size pan
works good and gives your hot dogs plenty of room.
Finally, put
the pan in the oven until the bacon is all fully cooked. By that time
the hot dogs will be cooked as well. It takes about 20 minutes depending on your
oven and how well done you like your bacon and hot dogs.
